Great World and Tanglin Mall is inviting everyone to celebrate a Christmas of Giving with Malls of Love - a fundraising campaign that falls under an overarching charity movement by Chef Violet Oon in collaboration with Community Chest’s Empowering Lives: Food for Good initiative to celebrate its 40th’s anniversary, in support of Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPAS). From now till 31st December, you can look forward to exciting events and activities that will be sure to make this year’s Christmas joyous and meaningful for all.
1. Support CPAS with Tanglin Mall and Great World’s Malls of Love
Donate and be rewarded as we embrace the spirit of giving this festive season through donations of either $5 or $50 to Community Chest at Great World & Tanglin Mall's Customer Service Counters, the Malls of Love Christmas Booth, and the official donation link here (powered by STRIPE towards National Council of Social Service). 100% of proceeds will go directly to Community Chest, supporting Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS).
- $50 will help purchase a customised hand splint to improve a client’s hand posture for better function.
- $100 will help purchase a month’s supply of diapers for students or clients.
- $200 will help purchase a basic Assistive Communication device for a non-verbal child.
As a token of appreciation, the first 1,000 shoppers who donate $50 will receive $25 worth in value of exciting F&B e-vouchers from COLLINS®, Windowsill Pies, Tanglin Cookhouse and Wine Connection Bistro, as well as 1000 Great Rewards Points (worth $5).

The Malls of Love Christmas Booth, beautifully decorated by top carnival organiser Uncle Ringo, is located just outside Lee Hwa Jewellery (Great World, Level 1). From now till 23rd December 2023 (CPAS Representatives will be there on Fridays & Saturdays, 12pm-7pm) to help shoppers learn more about CPAS and donate to support the cause. Donors will also receive a packet of cookies baked by CPAS students with Violet Oon’s recipe, while stocks last.
Groove to Live Beats and Special Performances

2. Celebrate a Smurf-tacular Christmas of Giving with City Square Mall

As you step into an enchanting world of The Smurfs where City Square Mall transforms into a winter wonderland straight out of Smurf Village in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Smurfs, consider checking out these charitable activations to lend a helping hand to those in need.

The Christmas Marketplace is proud to align with SG Cares Giving Week which is a cornerstone of the national SG Cares movement held annually from 1 to 7 December to celebrate the spirit of giving. Embark on an enchanting journey in a vibrant marketplace with exquisitely handcrafted treasures up for grabs, ranging from crochet, apparel, crystals, skincare vendors and more. We invite you to soak in the festivities as we come together to create a merry and joy-filled holiday season. Participating vendors will be selling their products in gift hampers and gift boxes, which are perfect for the season of giving.
As part of their efforts to give back, City Square Mall will also be allocating some booths to Enterprising Mums United (EMU)* and other social enterprise organisations in support of SG Giving Week. EMU will be offering a holistic array of exclusive, unique and distinctive products and services which are mainly hand-crafted, and prices ranging from $2 to $100 and more. Come and celebrate the joy of Christmas and support both local artisans and meaningful causes during this festive period.
Wrap Joy with LoveFAD

City Square Mall is also proud to announce a meaningful collaboration with Love for A Dollar (LoveFAD) to offer gift-wrapping services run by a team of volunteers. For just $2 per gift, shoppers not only receive beautifully wrapped Christmas presents but also be a donor to Care Community Services Society (CCSS). 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Care Community Services Society (CCSS) in support of non-profit organisations to raise funds and awareness.
