To offset GST hike starting 2023, FairPrice will be offering a 1 percent discount on 500 essential items for 6 months from January to June 2023.
The 500 essential items are identified as "frequently purchased by customers" which comprise both house-brand and national-brand products. They include fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, staples, dairy, paper products, detergents and household cleaners.
FairPrice will also be extending the ongoing discount schemes for seniors and blue CHAS cardholders for another year till 31 December 2023.
